Piping Engineer

Profile

You have a higher professional education (HBO) work and thinking level and are able to devise concrete solutions for various technical issues. Work experience as a Piping Engineer and knowledge and experience with software packages such as AutoCAD Plant 3D and Autodesk Navisworks are essential, and proficiency with Inventor is a plus. You are also familiar with applicable standards and guidelines, possess excellent communication skills, and are able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job content

As a Piping Engineer you are involved in the following on a daily basis:

  • Creating (detailed) designs in 3D based on clear specifications
  • Creating drawings with Autocad Plant 3D or Inventor software
  • Providing clients with the correct advice on technical feasibility
  • Setting up and maintaining project-specific instructions
  • Making Piping Stress (Ceasar) calculations and working in the Autodesk Construction Cloud are an advantage
