Dorst Traction Substation | Reinforcement of Traction Power Supply for the Brabant Route

As part of the capacity expansion of the Brabant Route, Tebulo handled the engineering for the modification of the Dorst substation. The design involved replacing the existing HVI, installing an additional 10 kV power supply connection, and doubling the 1,500 V DC power cables to ensure a robust and future-proof traction power supply.

For this project, Tebulo Engineering performed AC and DC network, short-circuit, and battery calculations, and prepared the necessary protection settings, schematics, detailed designs, and cable documentation. Tebulo also handled design verification and validation, as well as preparations for the phased commissioning of the new installation.
