Project description
On the A2SEA jack-up barge Sea Jack, the four hydraulic manifolds driving the Skagit winches are located above deck. This hydraulic system, which determines the barge's height through its four legs, is prone to maintenance and malfunctions due to its location in the salty sea air. Tebulo, commissioned by Hydex, provided the engineering for the conversion to a location below deck. The final conversion must be carried out during the barge's (de)mobilization. To this end, the design allows for maximum preparation during normal operation. This minimizes the conversion time for the complicated piping.
Our delivery included the following documentation: • general arrangements (4x, each manifold in new situation) • supports for manifolds • bulkhead deck penetration blocks • drip trays with feed-throughs • all piping adjustments
