Project description
Tebulo Engineering was involved in a technical project at a chemical company that produces catalysts for the petrochemical industry. These catalysts are used in the refining process, where crude oil is converted into products such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene.
The site houses three plants: the FCC (Fluid Catalytic Cracking), the HPC (Hydro Processing Catalysts), and the MPC (Multi-Purpose Plant). Each of these plants produces a different type of catalyst. There are also several buildings housing laboratories, Research & Development (R&D1 through R&D4), where research is conducted to improve current and new products.
The Sambuca project at the HPC Factory involved expanding one production line into two, doubling production capacity. Tebulo Engineering performed the E&I basic and detailed engineering for this project. They also provided support during the assembly, implementation, and commissioning of the new machines and instruments.
